Jana

Jana picked up the violin at age 4 and has been deeply ivolved in the classical music scene since then. Having achieved her Associate Diploma in Violin Performance at the young age of 13, she has taken the role of Concert Mistress and violin principal in several ensembles.

She has always had a passion for performing and picked up jazz violin at the age of 19 whilst studying music in Sydney. She was also a regular sessionist with renowned mando and canto pop band, Typhoon.

Since then, she has performed at various places all over Sydney and Singapore including the Esplanade, Star Performing Atrts Centre, and various hotels.

She has also appeared on various TV shows as a violinist including The Final 1 (Mediacorp) and Asia's Got Talent (AXN Asia).

Jana currently splits her time between being a concert producer awith the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and a performing musician. She is able to perform on both the acoustic and electric violin.

She is proficient in numerous genres including classical, jazz, pop, rock, mando pop and canto pop.
