Gerald is no stranger to the hosting industry. Having started out in 2005 at the age of 17, he was the youngest finalist in Mediacorp’s Channel U program “SuperHost” 《超级主持人》.

Gerald is a weekend radio presenter with YES 933, better known as 柏荣or 周末Uncle on air. He is the main English and Chinese host for Mediacorp’s “Junction Tree”, Singapore’s first-ever bilingual edutainment TV series for preschoolers, and TV host for Changi Airport Group’s OneChangiTV gameshow “The Energiser Challenge”.

Gerald is a familiar face on various e-commerce platforms such as Doropu and Shopee hosting their live streaming sessions. He was also one of the pioneer hosts for “The Suntec Shopping Festival” in June 2020, Singapore’s first-ever live stream shopping festival which attracted more than 10,000 views online.

Well known for his exuberant personality, Gerald is a highly sought-after emcee at corporate events and parties. He also hosted Sembawang GRC’s countdown parties two years in a row i.e. “Countdown to 2020” and “Countdown to 2019” which saw around 5000 participants each year.

He also fronted Channel 8 Facebook Live behind-the-scenes coverage for Star Awards 2019 which has more than 63,000 views (https://www.facebook.com/ch8sg/videos/2084354581873854/).

A working professional in an MNC, Gerald is also a children's speech and drama instructor, freelance theatre practitioner, and a voiceover artiste.
